Crown Prince ends Abu Dhabi visit

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office left Abu Dhabi yesterday morning at the end of His Royal Highness' visit to Abu Dhabi.

Before leaving the hotel, a prayer was recited by Pehin Khatib Haji Hamidon bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Hamid.

Prior to leaving Abu Dhabi, His Royal Highness visited the tomb of Al-Marhum His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan at the vicinity of Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Al-Marhum His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan ruled Abu Dhabi for 38 years from 1966.

Al-Marhum His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan was the first President of the United Arab Emirates after the formation of the federation of United Arab Emirates in 1971. Al-Marhum His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan passed away on November 2, 2004.

Accompanying His Royal Highness throughout the visit was Prince Abdul Qawi.

On Tuesday, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah made a courtesy call on His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at the Qasr Al-Bahri Palace, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Upon arrival at the Qasr Al-Bahri Palace, His Royal Highness was greeted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Accompanying His Royal Highness during the courtesy call was Prince Abdul Qawi.

Present during the courtesy call were Yusof bin Utaibah, Director of International Affairs of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, Muhammad Mubarak Al-Mazroui, Under Secretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi and Khaldun Al-Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority.

Also in attendance was Dato Paduka Haji Adnan bin Haji Zainal, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the United Arab Emirates. - Borneo Bulletin (24th April 2008)
