His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday consented to launch the Microsoft office in Brunei Darussalam.
Microsoft Corporation announced the opening of a new sales and marketing office in the Sultanate.
The event began with the recital of Doa Selamat upon the arrival of HRH the Crown Prince at The Mall in Gadong followed by a welcoming speech from Mr Chris Atkinson, President, Microsoft - South East Asia. Also present at the launching ceremony were Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pg Anak Hj Abdul Rahim and cabinet ministers.
A demonstration of Windows Vista and Office 2007 with a brief video presentation was presented. HRH the Crown Prince consented to receive a 'Pasambah' and to take a closer look at the Microsoft Windows Vista at a Microsoft design kiosk.
HRH the Crown Prince consented to sign a commemorative plaque in conjunction with the launching of the Microsoft office in Brunei and to join in a group photo with Microsoft delegates.
