His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday hosted a Royal Birthday Banquet in conjunction with His Majesty's 61st birthday at Istana Nurul Iman.
Also present were Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Saleha, Her Royal Highness Pg Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar binti Hakim Mazhar, His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, HRH Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Zariah and other members of the royal family.
Also attending the Royal Birthday Banquet were special guests from overseas including Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman, Chief Minister of Sabah; Dr Hg Eng Hen, Minister of Manpower and Second Minister of Defence for Singapore; Princess Basma of Jordan; Dr Boediono, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia; Rais Yatim, Minister of Culture, Youth and Heritage of Malaysia; and Dr Thongloun Sisoulith, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lao.
