Impersonating the vibrant voice and moves of the Malay legendary actor-singer, Tan Sri P. Ramlee, Awang Haji Bungsu Bin Haji Ibrahim emerged as the champion of the P. Ramlee impersonation contest held recently in front of the Royal Regalia as one of the festive activities.
The second place went to Awang Ramli bin Haji Metassan while the third spot was won by Awang Haji Ismail bin Abd Majid.
Organised by the Culture Division of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in conjunction with His Majesty's 59th birthday celebration, the competition attracted 37 participants.
The guest of honour who presented the prizes to the winners was Awang Mohd Amin bin BPK DP Haji Sirat, acting Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
