HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday attended the opening ceremony of the 47th Asean Ministerial Meeting at the Myanmar lnternational Convention Centre-1 in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.

President U Thein Sein of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar delivered an opening address.

His Royal Highness joined Asean colleagues in a courtesy call on President U Thein Sein.

His Royal Highness attended the Meeting of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (SEANWFZ) Commission, the Plenary and Retreat Sessions of the 47th Asean Ministerial Meeting.

His Royal Highness held bilateral meetings with Pham Binh Minh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. - Borneo Bulletin (9 August 2014)
