Crown Prince grants audience

HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, yesterday morning received in separate audiences the outgoing Thai Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam and the Sultanate’s newly-appointed Permanent Representative to Geneva, Switzerland.

His Royal Highness first received in audience Apichart Phetcharatana, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam.

The Thai Ambassador presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on Oct 23, 2011.

His Royal Highness later received in audience Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mahdi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Abdul Rahman, Brunei Darussalam’s newly appointed Permanent Representative to Geneva, Switzerland.

The newly appointed Permanent Representative received his Letter of Credence from His Majesty on Nov 24, 2014. He previously served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
