Crown Prince receives outgoing US & new Indian envoys

HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office yesterday received in separate audiences the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam and the newly-appointed High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam.

His Royal Highness first received in audience Daniel L Shields, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Brunei Darussalam.

The outgoing ambassador presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on April 5, 2011.

His Royal Highness then received in audience Dr Ashok Kumar Amrohi, the newly-appointed High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam, who presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty on February 25, 2014. He previously served as the High Commissioner of India to Mozambique.
