HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the King of Thailand on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty’s 87th birthday.

In the message, His Majesty greatly appreciates the contribution and commitment of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in strengthening the close personal ties between the two countries and its peoples.

In ending the message, His Majesty wished His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and all members of the royal family continued good health and happiness and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand lasting progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam, also sent a similar message of congratulations to his counterpart, Dato Paduka Seri General Tanasak Patimapragorn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 87th birthday.

His Royal Highness looked forward to working closely with him in strengthening their long-standing bilateral relations and regional and international cooperation.

His Royal Highness also wished him very much success in hosting the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit next year.
