HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to receive in separate audiences Souvanna Phouyavong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam and Major General (Rtd) Muhammad Ijaz Hussain Awan, the High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan who will be completing their tour of duties to Brunei Darussalam.

His Majesty first consented to receive in audience, Souvanna Phouyavong, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam.

Souvanna Phouyavong presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty on April 22, 2010.
