HIS Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), attended a “Doa Kesyukuran” ceremony held in conjunction with RBAF’s 53rd anniversary at Ministry of Defence Surau, Bolkiah Garrison last night.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat and RBAF Commander, Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Tawih bin Abdullah.

Also present were members of the Defence Executive Committee, Services Comman-ders and Commandants, directors, senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF as well as former Commanders of RBAF.

The event began with mass Maghrib prayers, followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran.

The event proceeded with the mass Isyak prayers, then Junjung Ziarah before His Royal Highness proceeded to the Officers’ Mess for the Santap and photo session. His Royal Highness also consented to sign the Royal Parchment.

The event was one of the activities held to seek blessings from Allah the Almighty.
