HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, on the occasion of his recent election as the Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

In the message, His Majesty wished Narendra Modi much success in his new post and looked forward to working with him to strengthen the valuable and long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and peoples, including through work in the Commonwealth and the Asean-India Dialogue.
