HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience The Right Honourable Gathorne Gathorne-Hardy, the 5th Earl of Cranbrook, at Istana Nurul Iman.

Lord Cranbrook is currently in the country on invitation by the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources for the launching ceremony of the Sungai Ingei research project, Phase II – “Faunal Biodiversity Survey in the Extension Zone of the Proposed Belait Basin Wildlife Sanctuary” yesterday.

Present at the audience ceremony were Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yahya bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar, the Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, and David Campbell, the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam. - Borneo Bulletin (27 February 2014)
