Royal messages for Saudi Arabia’s National Day

HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the government and people of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the kingdom’s National Day.

The message stated that His Majesty very much valued the long-standing and brotherly relations between the two countries and looked forward to many opportunities to strengthen this relationship and cooperation in the years ahead.

In concluding the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty bless His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and all members of the royal family with good health, happiness and prosperity.

His Majesty also conveyed his very best wishes for this year’s Haj season.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, also sent a congratulatory message to His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah said, “I have great pleasure in sending my respects to His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, together with my warmest congratulations to Your Royal Highness personally and to the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on your National Day.

“It was a pleasure meeting you at the 41st Session of the Council of Foreign Minister’s Meeting in Jeddah recently, and I thank Your Royal Highness again for the wonderful hospitality.

“I would also like to send my best wishes on your preparations for hosting the 13th Ministerial Meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) later this year.
