HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience Sir Peter Wall, the Chief of General Staff of the British Army, United Kingdom, who is in the country for a working visit. Present during the audience were Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also present were Dato Paduka Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office; Datin Paduka Hajah Suriyah binti Haji Umar, Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the Ministry of Defence and Group Captain Michael Christopher Longstaff, the Defence Adviser at the British High Commission in Brunei Darussalam.
