His Majesty leaves Jakarta after attending ceremony

HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia after attending the inauguration of Joko Widodo as the new President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Before the monarch left the Grand Hyatt Jakarta Hotel, a Doa Selamat was read by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

Present at the Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport, Jakarta to bid farewell to His Majesty were Bagas Hapsoro, Direktor Jeneral Staf Ahli Manajemen, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Nurul Qomar, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam, and senior government officials.

Also present to bid farewell to His Majesty was Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Indonesia.

Accompanying His Majesty were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abd Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office and Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II. - Borneo Bulletin (21 October 2014)
