HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Milan, Italy, on Friday after attending the 10th Asia-Europe Summit Meeting (ASEM).

The monarch was accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Wakeel and Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah, the Prime Minister’s Office said.

Before the monarch left Milan, a Doa Selamat was read by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

Present at the Malpensa International Airport, Milan to bid farewell to His Majesty was Dato Paduka Zainidi bin Haji Sidup, the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Italy.

Also accompanying His Majesty were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office and Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II. - Borneo Bulletin (19 October 2014)
