HER Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Commandant of Women Police, yesterday attended a Santap ceremony in conjunction with the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Women Police.
The Santap ceremony was conducted by the Women Police of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) at the Police Headquarters’ Officers Mess and Banquet Hall in Gadong.
Her Royal Highness was greeted on arrival by the Chairwoman of the event, Senior Superintendent of Police Dinah binti Amat Daud, along with members of the event committee.
Following Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna’s arrival was a meet and greet session with the committee members of the event, as well as invited guests comprising some 300 active and retired Women Police officers from a number of departments, formations and districts all over the country.
The event was held in commemoration of the 40 years since the establishment of the Women Police, and to present sincere and invaluable appreciation towards Her Royal Highness, who has inspired the Women Police to strengthen their spirit in becoming more progressive.
A number of performances by officers and personnel of the Women Police enlivened the event followed by a cake cutting ceremony by Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna.
The event was also held in honour of the retired Women Police who have contributed to the country and the RBPF.
