HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Deputy Sultan and Chairman of Brunei Darussalam National Disaster Council, yesterday granted audience to ministers and heads of delegation of the 3rd Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Asean Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) and the 2nd Asean Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM). The ministers and delegation heads from Asean member states and the Asean Secretariat were Nhim Vanda, Senior Minister and First Vice President of the National Committee for Disaster Management, Kingdom of Cambodia; Dato Seri Dr Shahidan bin Kassim, Minister at the Prime Minister Department, Malaysia; Suthee Makboon, Deputy Minister of Interior, Kingdom of Thailand; Dr Hoang Van Thang, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Tan Tee How, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry for Home Affairs, Republic of Singapore; Tabrani, Steering Committee at the National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB), Republic of Indonesia; Amphay Kindavong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam as representative of the Lao People Democratic Republic head of delegation; Daw Yin Yin Myint, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam as representative of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar head of delegation; Alexander P Pama, Undersecretary and Executive Director at the NDRRMC, Republic of the Philippines; and Alicia Dela Rosa Bala, Deputy Secretary General of Asean for Asean Socio-Cultural Community.
