His Majesty meets Singapore & Thai leaders

HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to hold a four-eye meeting with Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, and a bilateral meeting with General Prayuth Chan-ocha, Prime Minister of Thailand.

His Majesty first held a meeting with the Singapore Prime Minister to discuss bilateral issues and cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore, and exchanged views on regional and international matters of mutual interest.

Then, His Majesty held a bilateral meeting with the Thai Prime Minister to discuss bilateral issues and cooperation between both countries as well as exchanged matters of mutual interest.

Present during the bilateral meeting were the Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office, Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abd Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng and the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office, Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar.

The meetings were held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO).
