HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience His Highness Al-Sayyid Haitham bin Tareq bin Taimour Al-Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture of the Sultanate of Oman, who is in the country for a four-day working visit.

Accompanying His Highness at the audience were Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashil bin Rashid Al-Maskari, Ambassador of Oman to Brunei Darussalam and Sheikh Hamed Hilal Ali Al-Mamari, Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman.

Also present during the audience was YB Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hazair bin Haji Abdullah, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The audience ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman. - Borneo Bulletin (12 March 2014)
