HRH Prince ‘Abdul Malik yesterday attended a Tedarus, Khatam Al-Quran and Tahlil event, organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah for the month of Ramadhan, at the Multipurpose Hall of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Complex.

HRH Prince ‘Abdul Malik is the Chairman of the YSHHB Committee of Governors.

Also present at the ceremony were Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Suyoi bin Hj Osman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yayasan, and Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Hj Awang Abu Bakar bin Hj Apong, Deputy Chairman II of YSHHB Board of Directors.

The ceremony started with the recitation of all 30 Juzuks of Al-Quran by students of the Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, followed by the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and Tahlil, which was led by Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar. - Borneo Bulletin (10 July 2014)
