HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to attend Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders’ Gala Dinner and Cultural Reception last night.

The event took place in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia and was hosted by Dr H Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the Republic of Indonesia.

His Majesty was greeted on arrival by President Yudhoyono and Ibu Hjh Ani Bambang Yudhoyono, which was followed by a photo session.

Accompanying His Majesty were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abd Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office; Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II and Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office. - Borneo Bulletin (8 October 2013)
