HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to Hassan Rohani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the occasion of the inauguration as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the message, His Majesty much appreciated the friendship and goodwill shared by the two countries and looked forward to working with the Iranian President in strengthening the much-valued ties in the year ahead.

In ending the message, His Majesty extended his kindest regards and best wishes to Hassan Rohani and his family on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. - Borneo Bulletin (7 August 2013)
