The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Association, Datin Paduka Hajah Jahrah binti Haji Mohammad and members of the association.

The religious ceremony began with Khatam Al-Quran reading, Sunat Hajat Prayer, Doa Kesyukuran and later followed by mass Asar prayer. Leading the recitation of Doa Kesyukuran, sunnat hajat and Asar prayers was Ustazah Hajah Norhasimah binti Haji Syawal.

The Khatam Al-Quran was to mark the completion of the recitation of 30 Juzuks of the Al-Quran. - Borneo Bulletin (6 October 2013)
