His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday conferred honorary medals to some 227 recipients in honour of His Majesty’s 67th birthday celebration in a ceremony held at Istana Nurul Iman.

Also present were HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, HRH Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah and HRH Prince ‘Abdul Malik.

A total of 47 recipients were awarded with Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei Yang Amat Mulia, third class (SMB) while eight received Darjah Seri Ugama Islam Negara Brunei Yang Amat Bersinar, fourth class (SUB).

A total of 164 were awarded with Darjah Setia Negara Brunei Yang Amat Bahagia, fourth class (PSB) including YAM Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Al-Mokhtar bin Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz and another eight were bestowed with Darjah Seri Ugama Islam Negara Brunei Yang Amat Bersinar, fifth class (PUB) medals.
