HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience Tan Sri Dr Yusof Noor, the President of University of Islamic Malaysia Council (UIMC).

Among those present were Dato’ Abdullah Sani Omar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and from UIMC, Prof Dato’ Dr Ismail Abdul Monir Yaacob, Head of Management and Regulations; Dato’ Wira Dr Ismail Ibrahim, Head of Academic Affairs; Datuk Abdul Manaf Haji Ahmad, Head of Finance; and Tuan Haji MohdPuzi Dahaman, Deputy Head of Management and Regulations.

Meanwhile, Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awg Othman, Minister of Home Affairs; Awang Haji Mahrub bin Haji Murni, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Dato Paduka Dr Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs were also present. - Borneo Bulletin (6 March 2013)
