Deputy Sultan receives Singapore’s Chief of Defence Force

HIS Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Deputy Sultan, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, yesterday morning received in audience Lieutenant General Dato Paduka Seri Ng Chee Meng, Chief of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces, and his wife, Datin Michelle Ng, who are in the country for a three-day visit.

Accompanying Lieutenant General Dato Paduka Seri Ng Chee Meng were: Mr Jaya Ratnam, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam; Lieutenant Colonel Tan Tiong Keat, Assistant to the Chief of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces; and, Mrs Lim Chong Mei, spouse of the Defence Attache of the Singapore Armed Forces to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present at the ceremony were: Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Minister of Defence; Pengiran Datin Hajah Jamilah binti Pengiran Haji Mohd Yusof, wife of the Deputy Minister of Defence; Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, and his spouse, Datin Dayang Nurhayana Janis binti Abdullah; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office; and, Awang Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Acting Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy and Development) at the Ministry of Defence.
