BY command of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Grand Chamberlain YAM Pengiran Penggawa Laila Bentara Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana Pengiran Hj Alauddin bin Pengiran Paduka Tuan Pengiran Hj Abu Bakar announced that Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, the wife of YAM Pengiran Anak Hj Muhammad Ruzaini bin Pengiran Dr Hj Mohd Yakub, by the grace of Allah the Almighty has safely given birth to a prince at 2.45am yesterday (August 3).

To mark the birth, a 17-gun salute was fired from the compound of Istana Nurul Iman, according to a press release from the Office of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. - Borneo Bulletin (4 August 2013)
