HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Brunei’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade chaired the annual Informal Asean Ministerial Meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Thursday morning, a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade stated.

According to the press release, “His Royal Highness in the afternoon chaired the Asean Foreign Ministers’ Meeting with the President of the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly and the United Nation’s Secretary General.

“His Royal Highness also had bilateral meetings with Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State Minister for Foreign Affairs and Guineans Abroad, Lounceny Fall.

“His Royal Highness in the evening attended a reception hosted by Mr Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York”. - Borneo Bulletin (28 September 2013)
