SOME 300 members of staff of the Ministry of Development (MoD) were led by Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Minister of Development in conducting a Tahlil at the Royal Mausoleum, Batu Satu, Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday afternoon for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, the late parents of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

Also attending the ceremony were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Permanent Secretary (Technical and Professional); Awang Haji Muhammad Lutfi bin Haji Abdullah, Permanent Secretary (Administration & Finance); Awang Eddie bin Dato Paduka Haji Sunny, Deputy Permanent Secretary; Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin Director General of Public Works Department and heads of department from the MoD.

A recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil was followed by a Doa Arwah, which was led by a Mosque Affairs Officer, Imam Awang Haji Mahsud bin Haji Malik. - Borneo Bulletin (26 July 2013)
