Royal congratulatory messages to Jordan

HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and member of the royal family, as well as the people of Jordan, on the occasion of Jordan’s Independence Day.

In the message, His Majesty said he greatly appreciated the valuable cooperation between the two countries, as well as the warm and close friendships enjoyed by the people of Brunei Darussalam and Jordan that have been developed over many years.

His Majesty said he looked forward to working closely with His Majesty King Abdullah II to further strengthen these important and long-standing ties.

In ending the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah the Almighty would bless His Majesty King Abdullah II and all members of the royal family with good health and happiness, and the brotherly people of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with progress and prosperity.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, meanwhile sent a similar message to his counterpart, Nasser Judeh, Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

In the message, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah extended his deepest respects to His Majesty King Abdullah II and other members of the royal family, and congratulated the government and Jordanian people on the occasion of Jordan’s Independence Day.

“I look forward to continuing our work to strengthen the excellent cooperation and warm friendship long shared by our countries and people,” said HRH.

HRH also extended his best wishes to the Jordanian minister and his family, and for the continued happiness and prosperity of the people of Jordan. - Borneo Bulletin (25 May 2013)
