HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience, Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Heads of Delegate who are currently in Brunei Darussalam attending the 8th Asean Ministerial Meeting on Youth (AMMY) and the 4th Asean+3 Ministerial Meeting on Youth.

Also present at the ceremony was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The 8th AMMY, held in Bandar Seri Begawan on May 22 was chaired by Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hazair bin Haji Abdullah, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The theme of the meeting was, ‘Young People: Building Tomorrow’s Asean Today’, has focussed on issues related to youth volunteerism and entrepreneurship.
