HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office visited and inspected the proposed Infrastructure Phase 5 and Terrace House of the National Housing Scheme site in Kampong Sungai Liang, Belait.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was briefed about the scheme and brought on a site tour.

The project is led by the Housing Development Department, Ministry of Development, and aims to meet the needs of people in Belait District where the number of approved and pending applicants are 3,093 people. It is also to meet the needs of all the people who apply for government housing scheme to own a house in a clean and comfortable environment.

Scope of works for the proposed project include measurement work and setting, site clearing and earthworks, construction of 824 units of terrace houses of different types, road construction works, RC drain construction works, sewerage works including the installation of pipes and manholes, electrical works involving the installation of high-voltage and low voltage cabling.
