HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to President Barack Obama on the occasion of his inauguration as the President of the United States of America.

His Majesty looks forward to working with President Obama during his second-term in office to strengthen the long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and as partners in the region.
