HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a condolence message to Benigno Simeon C Aquino III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, following the recent earthquake that struck central Philippines.

The message stated that His Majesty was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of lives and damage to property resulting from the earthquake.

His Majesty and the people of Brunei Darussalam extended their deepest condolences to the government and people of the Republic of Philippines at this difficult time, particularly to the bereaved families of the victims of this disaster. - Borneo Bulletin (20 October 2013)
