TO MARK the month of Ramadhan, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah held a Tahlil for His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s late parents, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit at the Royal Mausoleum in Jalan Tutong yesterday.

His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Chairman of Yayasan Administrative Committee, at the Royal Mausoleum. Yaasiin and Tahlil recitals were led by Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Yahya bin Haji Ibrahim, Yayasan’s administrative committee member.

Also present were Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Education and Chairman of Yayasan Board of Directors, members of the Board of Directors, Yayasan staff, teachers of Yayasan School, as well as residents of Kg Bolkiah ‘A’ and ‘B’ National Housing Scheme. - Borneo Bulletin (18 July 2013)
