His Majesty was received by top government officials including Jejomar C Binay, Vice President of the Philippines; Secretary Albert F Del Rosario, Department of Foreign Affairs, the Philippines; Celia Anna Feria, Chief of Presidential Protocol, the Philippines; and Brunei Darussalam’s Ambassador to the Philippines, Malai Hjh Halimah bte Hj Malai Yusof.

From the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, His Majesty proceeded to the Makati Shangri La Hotel, RTB reported.

At the hotel, His Majesty was received by the Acting General Manager, Andrew De Oudsten.

Accompanying His Majesty to the hotel were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office; Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, Pehin Datu Singamanteri Col (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office, and other government officials, RTB reported. - Borneo Bulletin (16 April 2013)
