HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to attend a dinner hosted by Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan. The event took place at the Prime Minister’s official residence.

The arrival of His Majesty was greeted by the Japanese prime minister and his spouse. His Majesty was later invited to take a seat along with other Asean heads of state and government and their spouses.

Prior to the dinner, the Japanese prime minister delivered his opening remarks and shortly afterwards, introduced a team of well-known chefs chosen to prepare the dinner to the leaders.

Accompanying His Majesty yesterday was Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II. - Borneo Bulletin (14 December 2013)
