The Brunei women team led by HRH Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah lost to Perak 9-7 and Pahang 5-4 in the 39th Malaysia Open Softball Championship at UTM Skudai in Johor yesterday.

The Brunei women team also lost to Terengganu 8-5 when their 9-8 win was not counted when they were deemed using an unapproved bat.

The Brunei men’s team crushed Negeri Sembilan 8-0 in the playoffs yesterday to qualify for the quarterfinals against Perak today. - Borneo Bulletin (13 April 2013)
