Their Royal Highnesses attend audience ceremony

HIS Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, last night attended an audience ceremony with Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Almu’tasimu Billahi Muhibbuddin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah. The audience took place at the Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur.

Their Royal Highnesses were received by Major General Dato’ Md Tajri bin Alwi, the Grand Chamberlain. Their Royal Highnesses signed a visitor’s book before proceeding to the Dewan Seri Negara.

Before the audience ceremony, Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri posed for a photo.

After the audience, Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong and Their Royal Highnesses proceeded to the Dewan Seri Maharaja for a royal dinner.

Also present at the royal dinner were Tunku Panglima Besar Kedah Dato’ Seri Diraja Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz binti Tunku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah; Dato’ Seri Diraja Tunku Soraya binti Tunku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah; and Raja Dato’ Seri Iskandar Dzulkarnain Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris Afifullah Shah.

Accompanying Their Royal Highnesses were Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein, Minister of Defence, Malaysia, as the Minister-in-Attendance, and wife, Datin Seri Tengku Marsilla binti Tengku Abdullah.

Also accompanying were Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Minister of Development; Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister’s Office; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office; Dato Paduka Haji Ishaaq bin Haji Abdullah, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia and wife. - Borneo Bulletin (11 November 2013)
