HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Chairman of the Asean Ministerial Meetings to prepare for the 22nd Asean Summit, hosted a dinner for Asean Foreign Ministers at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, Bandar Seri Begawan.

His Royal Highness, during the dinner, briefed colleagues and the new Asean Secretary-General, Le Luong Minh, on preparations for the 22nd Asean Summit due to be held in Bandar Seri Begawan April 24 and 25, 2013.

The 9th Meeting of the Asean Economic Community was held in Brunei’s capital yesterday. The second day of the meeting today will witness the Asean Foreign Ministers’ Retreat followed by the 9th Meeting of the Asean Political Security Community (APSC) Council and 12th Meeting of the Asean Coordinating Council (ACC).

The outcome and recommendations from this two-day meeting will be presented to Asean leaders during the Summit. - Borneo Bulletin (11 April 2013)
