His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday received in audience three newly appointed foreign envoys - High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Major General (Rtd) Muhammad Ijaz Hussain Awan; High Commissioner of Canada Marcel Goumond; and High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore Jaya Ratnam - at Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.

The newly-appointed envoys presented their credentials to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on June 25, 2012.

His Royal Highness later received a farewell call from Dr Bernd Max Morast, the outgoing ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Dr Morast has been the German Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam since October 2011. - Borneo Bulletin (9 August 2012)
