His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon consented to visit the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a press release stated.
The arrival of His Majesty was greeted by Awang Junaidi bin Masri, Senior Assistant Managing Director of Brunei Investment Agency; Dato' Willi B Martin, Area Vice President, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts; and Mr Robert Dallimore, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Joining His Majesty's entourage were Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister of Finance II at the Prime Minister's Office, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Brunei Investment Agency; Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Awang Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II; and Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, who is also a board member of the Brunei Investment Agency.
Grand Hyatt Hotel is strategically located in Jalan Pinang and adjacent to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and shopping malls and near to tourist attractions including the Petronas Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur Tower. It offers 412 guestrooms, including 42 opulent suites with view of Kuala Lumpur's panoramic cityscape.
