His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to grant an audience to Dato' Sri Dr Ali bin Hamsa, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia, who is in the country for the 14th exchange visit programme for senior civil service officials of Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia.

Present during the audience ceremony were Dato' Abdullah Sani Omar, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam; and Dato' Husni Zai Yaacob; Deputy Secretary General (Bilateral Affairs) of Malaysia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Also present were Hj Mohd 'Abdoh bin Dato Seri Setia Hj Abdul Salam, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office and Pg Kasmirhan bin Pg Hj Tahir, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. - Borneo Bulletin (4 November 2012)
