His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday hosted a morning walk and breakfast for Mr Lee Hsien Loong, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, held at the Tasek Lama Recreational Park in conjunction with his visit to the Kingdom of Unexpected Treasures.
Also in attendance were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Upon arriving at the entrance of the recreational park, Prime Minister Lee was greeted personally by His Majesty, HRH the Crown Prince and HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah. Prime Minister Lee was accompanied by members of the Singapore delegation.
The activity began with a light warmup session facilitated by officials from the Sports Medicine Centre, Department of Youth and Sports.
The warmup session was joined by His Majesty, Prime Minister Lee, HRH the Crown Prince and HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah. Also taking part were the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and members of the Singapore delegation.
After the warmup session, His Majesty and the Singapore Prime Minister then went on to start the morning walk, first at the lower ground level of the recreational park, and then up on the steep hill heading towards the tower.
From the top of the tower, His Majesty and Prime Minister Lee watched the rich green scenic view of Brunei Darussalam from a high altitude.
After the morning walk, His Majesty and Prime Minister Lee planted two 'Selunsur' trees together, located near the waterfall at the Tasek Lama Recreational Park.
After the tree planting, His Majesty invited Prime Minister Lee for breakfast near the waterfall, in a specially built tent.
