Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha graced the Majlis Bersanding of YAM Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Nafee' bin Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris and YM Pengiran Hajah Yura Halimatussa'adah Pengiran Haji Yura Perkasa. The event was held at the Taman Seri Alam in Kg Jangsak yesterday.

Also in attendance at the ceremony were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, HRH Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah, HRH Prince 'Abdul Malik and HRH Prince 'Abdul Wakeel.

Also present were HRH Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah, HRH Princess Hajah Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah, HRH Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah, HRH Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, HRH Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah as well as other members of the royal family.

YAM Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Nafee' is one of five children of HRH Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam, sister of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. YM Pengiran Hajah Yura Halimatussa'adah Pengiran Haji Yura Perkasa is the daughter of YM Pengiran Anak Hajah Mastura binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammad Alam, sister of Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha.

Adorned in matching and immaculate traditional attire under the decorative settings of the pelamin (bridal seating area), YAM Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Nafee' and YM Pengiran Hajah Yura Halimatussa'adah, both of whom looked visibly radiant, made their way out of the pelamin onto the main entrance together as a married couple.

Her Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses also consented to receive the junjung ziarah from the bride and the bridegroom. - Borneo Bulletin (2 July 2012)
