His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon granted an audience to Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al-Busaidi, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, at Istana Nurul Iman.

Sayyid is currently in the country for a two-day visit to attend the 13th Bilateral Consultative Meeting between Brunei Darussalam and the Sultanate of Oman.

Accompanying Sayyid during the audience was Sayyid Fakhri bin Mohamed bin Said Al-Said, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam.

Also present were: Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Awang Lim Jock Seng, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II; Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office; and, Pengiran Datin Paduka Hajah Masrainah binti Pengiran Haji Ahmad, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. - Borneo Bulletin (29 April 2012)
