His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to Dr Mohamed Mursi, President-Elect of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the occasion of his victory in the recent presidential elections in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

In the message, His Majesty looked forward to working with Dr Mohamed Mursi to enhance the much-valued friendship and cooperation enjoyed by the two countries and their people.

In concluding the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah Subhanahu Watta'ala bless the people of the Arab Republic of Egypt with peace, progress and prosperity. - Borneo Bulletin (27 June 2012)
