His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of congratulations to Pranab Mukherjee, President of the Republic of India on the occasion of his recent election as the President of the Republic of India.

In the message, His Majesty wished the president much success in his new post and looked forward to working closely with him in strengthening the valuable cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of India and the longstanding ties of friendship between the people of the two countries.
