His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday granted an audience to Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, State Department, United States of America, Andrew J Shapiro, who is here for a one-day working visit. Also present during the audience were Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II; Mr Daniel Luke Shields III, US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam; Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office; and Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Azmansham bin Pengiran Haji Mohammad, Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy and Development) at the Ministry of Defence.
